Prayagraj: As part of the 27th Sports Festival of Benhur Schools and College, a cross country race was organized from Kotwali to Karelabagh on Friday morning at 5:30 am. The race was flagged off by Vice Principal Rotarian Alina Khan and President of Rotary Allahabad Academy Rotarian Aftab Ahmed after prayers. The main objective of the race was to give the message of unity and peace in the country. 500 students participated in it, in which all the teachers and staff of the school also participated. Shahrukh Khan, a student of class 12, set a new record by completing the race from Kotwali to Karelabagh in just 7 minutes. Chief guest of the program Aftab Ahmed, Principal Sabiha Khan and Vice Principal Alina Khan honoured those students who stood first, second and third in various categories.

List of Winners: Senior Boys Category: 1st – Shahrukh Khan, 2nd – Rahil Ahmed, 3rd – Mohammad Shafi. Senior Girls Category: 1st – Umme Habiba, 2nd – Ananya Kushwaha, 3rd – Umra Fatima. Junior Boys Category: 1st – Rehan Rabbani. , 2nd – Mohammad Mushin, 3rd – Mohammad Aksam Ali. Junior Girls Category: 1st – Tasmiya Fatima, 2nd – Ilma Siddiqui, III – Sara Parveen. The program concluded in the presence of the founder of the school, where the winners were given trophies and certificates as an incentive.
