Prayagraj: Patanjali Nursery School conducted the annual function (Colours of life) of Kg children on 1st December 2024 in Radhakrishnan Hall in two shifts. The program commenced with the lighting of lamp by all the dignitaries present. Thereafter, the headmistress of Patanjali Nursery School Ms.Vibha Srivastava welcomed the Chief guest for the first shift, Dr Ritu Jain a pediatrician and also the director of Mohak Hospital. The second shift was graced by Dr.Arpit Bansal, who is an advanced laparoscopic and Oncosurgeon and also a director of Jeevan Jyoti Hospital. The first event was an invocation dance, a salutation to Lord Ganpati, which filled the auditorium with divinity and happiness. It was followed by Abhinandan song, reflecting on the blessings that everyone receives from nature.The children created magic with their melodious singing. The third performance was a rainbow skit (The Magic of sharing) depicting beautiful values of life. Kg children took everyone to the underwater world with their mesmerising dance drama.
Thereafter, the chief guest for the first shift, Dr Ritu Jain praised all the performances and appreciated the efforts of teachers and the staff for putting forward a great show. She encouraged parents to have a healthy lifestyle for themselves and for their children. She also shared her own journey of being connected to nature and setting benchmarks for living a healthy and mindful life.
The chief guest for the second shift Dr. Arpit Bansal also talked about the benefits of exercising daily and having the right mindset in moving ahead is also very important in life. He also mentioned on being connected to mother nature as it keeps us rooted. He cherished the performances of all the children and was so delighted to see the children perform with so much confidence and without any fear.
The next highlight of the show was Rangotsav rhythm (A splash of colours). Kg children performed with utmost love and purity, signifying the importance of colours in our life.
Moving ahead in the show, Prayagraj Hamari pehchan (Origin of Sangam )was a spectacular performance where children brought to life the merger of three rivers, Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. It left the audience enthralled.
The honorary secretary of Patanjali Nursery School, Dr.Krishna Gupta ma’am congratulated the teachers, parents and the headmistress of PNS for putting a great show. She talked about the holistic development of a child and mentioned on nurturing the children with utmost love, kindness, and compassion. She also focused on inculcating values in children from a very tender age. The director of Patanjali group of schools, Rekha Baid Gupta Ma’am mentioned that kids are our colours of life and how parents should spend more quality time with their children to instill in them a sense of security.She also encouraged on staying healthy and fit and emphasised on value based education. She praised all the teachers, parents and children for performing so well on stage.
Last, but not the least was a thank you dance (grateful hearts in motion )where the little ones expressed a heartfelt gratitude to each and everyone witnessing the program. The program ended with a vote of thanks that was proposed by Ms..Vandana Agrawal and compering was done by Ms.Shilpa Nighoskar and Ms.Richa Yadav.
