Prayagraj: Cultural evening was inaugurated on Thursday in the fifth evening of the National Craft Fair organized by North Central Region Cultural Centre, Ministry of Culture, Government of India. In the series of folk dances, Prakash Visht and fellow artists from Uttarakhand presented Jaunsari and Chachari dance. After this, Shraddha Satvidkar and her team from Maharashtra presented the traditional Lavani folk dance of Maharashtra.  Apart from this, Shivaji Rao and his team from Tamil Nadu presented Kadgam-Pikak Bull dance, while Vanraj Singh and his team presented Garba, the famous folk dance of Gujarat. The program was conducted by Abhijeet Mishra. Craft products and field artists are attracting people – Craftsmen from different states are attracting a lot of people with their handmade products in the craft fair. There was a lot of crowd in the fair on Thursday. Kashmir’s shawls, Jaipuri quilts, Bhagalpuri silk and Wahid’s biryani of Lucknow attracted people. Among the field artists, the theatrics and flute playing of Rajasthan are the center of attraction for the people of Prayag.
