Prayagraj: The case is of Nawabganj police station, Udit Narayan Tiwari, a resident of Narepar Gram Sabha, went to Bageshwar Dham in Madhya Pradesh last month, when he returned the next day, the cupboard of the whole house was open, all the items were scattered and according to Udit Narayan, all the jewelry and cash were missing, about 70 lakhs was stolen. Of the two watchmen Hiralal and Lalati whom he had left to look after the house, watchman Hiralal died. The family alleged that he died in police custody but the police said that Hiralal had a heart attack. The post-mortem report also showed a heart attack. In a press conference on Thursday, Udit Narayan said that the police is not taking any action and is not finding the stolen goods or the thieves.
Udit Narayan Tiwari is running around the administration and according to the victim Udit Narayan, the police is accusing him of beating Hiralal. Udit Narayan, while talking to the journalists for justice, said that the police tried to stop his family from coming to the press conference and his son and relatives were not allowed to come to the conference venue.
The victim said that the police must take swift action and trace the thieves and recover all the money that he has lost so that he can be compensated for his loss.

Speaking to reporters, he said, “On 24-5-2025, I went to Bageshwar Dham, Chhatarpur with my family. Hiralal and  Lalti alias Jamalhi were looking after my house, but when I came home with my family on 25-5-2025, my whole house was in disarray. Thieves stole goods worth Rs. 70 lakh including cash from my house. In this case, on my complaint, a case was registered against unknown thief under FIR No. 232 Section 305A, 331 (1) on 26-05-2025 at Thana Nawabganj. During the investigation, Hiralal, who was guarding my house, was picked up by the police. Unfortunately, he died. Till now not even a single thief has been arrested in this case, the police investigation has become completely zero, the attitude of the police officers in this case does not seem to be right. A poor Brahmin family whose life savings were stolen by thieves, but the police, by defending itself, is trying in every way to prove the victim as the culprit, the poor Brahmin family does not seem to be getting justice from anywhere, if the police does not conduct an impartial investigation in the whole matter and reveal the theft, then the victim will go to the High Court demanding justice.”
