Prayagraj: City Congress President Fujail Hashmi on Tuesday visited flood affected areas like Gaddha Colony in Kareli, Ainuddinpur, Karela Bagh, around Karamat Ali’s Chowki, Govindpur, Mehandouri, Shankarghat, Bakshi Dam, Nagvasuki, Daraganj and took stock of the flood situation. He met the flood affected people and provided them relief material on behalf of the party and listened to their problems. He alleged that the administration is neither providing proper help to the people nor boats. Hashmi appealed to the newly arrived District Magistrate Verma to provide all the resources in the influential areas of the city. He said that ward presidents and city officials have been deployed in each area for continuous monitoring. On this occasion, he was accompanied by Minority Department City President Arshad Ali, Anoop Tripathi, Pravesh Siddiqui, Anil Chaudhary, Mohammad Haseen, Rameshwar Sonkar, Rajesh Mishra, Mohammad Shakoor, Vishal Sonkar, Zahid leader Tabrez Ahmed, Keshav Pasi etc.
