Silent procession on Aug 14 to commemorate horrors of Partition
Prayagraj: In a meeting held at the BJP office in Civil Lines on Wednesday regarding the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, BJP Prayagraj Mahanagar President Sanjay Gupta, while giving information about the campaign, said that an action plan has been prepared for the districts by the state and central leadership regarding the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. Under which Tiranga Yatra will be taken out in all the 15 mandals of Prayagraj Mahanagar. One coordinator and two co-coordinators have been appointed in each mandal for the program. A meeting will be called at the mandal level regarding the campaign on 7th and 8th August. Tiranga Yatra will be organized in each mandal from 10th to 12th August. The main role of Yuva Morcha and Mahila Morcha in the yatra, connecting traders, common people, youth and women should be the priority. Play cards with photos of modern defense equipment will also be there in the yatra. The families of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the war in the mandals will be honored by visiting their homes. From 12th to 14th August, cleanliness campaign will be run around important monuments related to the freedom movement and flower offering will be done. From 13th to 15th August, a program of distribution of flags and hoisting of flags in homes will be run. On 14th August, on the occasion of Partition Horror Memorial Day, a seminar will be organized in the district office and after that a silent procession will be taken out and the families affected by the Partition will be invited to the seminar. The Metropolitan President said that the workers should hoist the flag in their homes on 15th August and load its photo on the Saral app. The Metropolitan President has appealed to the people to participate enthusiastically in the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. Yuva Morcha Metropolitan President Pappu Pandey has been made the convener of the campaign and Avinash Dubey and Dilip Kesarwani have been made co-conveners. The meeting was conducted by Metropolitan General Secretary Ravi Kesarwani.
