Prayagraj: City Congress Committee workers took out a protest march from Parliament House to the Election Commission office against vote theft and protested at Patthar Church Dharna Sthal in Civil Lines against the detention of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, Deputy Leader in Rajya Sabha Pramod Tiwari, SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav and more than 300 MPs of India Alliance in New Delhi. Congressmen under the leadership of City Congress President Fuzail Hashmi were raising slogans like Vote Chor – Gaddi Chhod, Election Commission Murdabad, SIR Kand Karo demanding the release of their leaders. During this meeting, Congressmen called the actions of the Election Commission wrong and anti-democratic. They said that the Election Commission should apologize to the country for what Rahul Gandhi has revealed with evidence.
