Prayagraj: On the eve of Teachers’ Day, twenty disabled teachers were honored in the “Ashtavakra Samman 2025” ceremony organized at Gandhi Academic Institute Bank Road under the joint aegis of Anam Sneh Parivar and Gandhi Academic Institute.

In his address, the chief guest, Hon’ble Justice Shri Vipin Chandra Dixit Ji said, “Disabled teachers are a source of inspiration for the society. Lighting the lamp of education in adverse circumstances is truly a respect for humanity.”

Among the honored teachers were Dr. Ashish Kumar Gupta, Amita Kushwaha, Renu, Ramswari, Chandbhan Dwivedi, Raghavendra Singh, Pratibha Kumari, Dhanraj Kumar Yadav, Ram Prasad, Mahendra Kumar Gupta, Syed Parvez Hussain, Girish Chandra, Vijay Singh, Sudhakar Tripathi, Anil Kumar, Jitendra Kumar, Prabhat Chandra Mishra, Pragya Rao, Vijay Prakash Tiwari, Ratna Ojha, Savita Saroj and Dr. Sunil Vijhla.

As special guests, Mr. Abhay Kumar Srivastava (Deputy Director, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Prayagraj), Dr. Veena Singh, Director of Gandhi Academic Institute Omprakash Shukla and employee leader Ravishankar Mishra extended their heartfelt wishes for Teachers’ Day in their addresses.

While conducting the program, Brahmaprakash Tiwari narrated the memories of the great Acharya Ashtavakra ji and the vote of thanks was given by the program coordinator, senior social worker and teacher Shri Narayan Yadav. National poet Javed Siddiqui enthralled the audience with his couplets and poetry. Prashant Kumar Maurya, Madhu Yadav, Abha Mishra, Preeti Tiwari, Padma, Nisha Gupta, Phoolchand Yadav, Chandan Nishad, Raghunath Nishad, Premlata Shukla, Seema, Vandana Gupta, Shelpi Gupta, Anuradha, Ghanshyam Master, Mohammad Sagir, Sulochana etc. were present in the program.
