Prayagraj: On the occasion of Sarva Pitru Tarpan Diwas, Prayagraj Mayor Umesh Chandra Ganesh Kesarwani inspected the injured and sick cow shelter at Rambagh and demonstrated his spirit of service by feeding jaggery to the cattle there. The Mayor stated that the deficiencies found in all cow shelters operated by the Prayagraj Municipal Corporation will be addressed soon. Arrangements for the treatment of injured and sick cattle are being made specifically at the injured and sick cow shelter. The Mayor praised the role of cow protectors who selflessly serve in the treatment of injured and sick cows, notably Dr. Mamta Dubey, Ankit Tiwari, Sujit Sonkar, Sujit Tiwari, Suraj Gupta, Kisalay Singh, Shobhit Som Dwivedi, Krishna Srivastava, Dharmendra, Hrithik Yadav, Ganesh Kumar Bind, Virendra Pratap, Ajay Kumar Prajapati, and Verma Ji, a resident of Daraganj. According to the program organizer Ankit Tiwari, on an occasion like Pitru Paksha, this initiative not only shows reverence towards religious beliefs and traditions but is also a symbol of sensitivity and moral responsibility towards living beings.
