Prayagraj: Dr. Tribhuvan Chaubey, Incharge, All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Vegetable Crops, ICAR–Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi, visited the ongoing Breeding, Seed Technological Research, and Pathological Trials conducted under the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS), Prayagraj.

During his visit, Dr. Chaubey thoroughly reviewed the performance of various trials and expressed his satisfaction with the progress and research outcomes observed at the center.

He was accompanied by Dr. S. D. Maecarty, Director Research; Dr. Vaidurya Pratap Sahi, Professor and Head, Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding; Dr. Prashant Kumar Rai, Associate Professor and Scientist Incharge, Breeding and Seed Technological Research; Dr. Shashi Tiwari, Assistant Professor and Scientist Incharge, Pathological Trials, along with other officials of the department. The visit emphasized the significance of continued research efforts to enhance the quality and productivity of vegetable crops through integrated breeding and seed technology programs.
