Youth not begging, demanding constitutional rights: Engr Sunil Kushwaha
Prayagraj: On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, the “Youth Demand Employment” campaign was formally launched today by the Pragatisheel Samaj Party, Yuva Morcha, at Swami Vivekananda Square in Prayagraj. The campaign will run from January 12th to January 23rd, 2026, culminating on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Addressing the program, National President of Pragatisheel Samaj Party, Engineer Sunil Kushwaha said that today the youth of the country and the state are unemployed despite being educated. The government has completely failed in issuing recruitments and completing them on time. The youth is not asking for alms, but is demanding its constitutional right. If the government does not formulate a concrete employment policy in time, then this movement of the youth will intensify. He said that today’s youth is asking questions, and this question is the most uncomfortable for the government. He said that youth demand employment is not just a slogan, but a mass movement of the youth against the failure of the government, which will reach every village and college.
On this occasion, Ajit Patel, State Vice President of the Pragatisheel Samaj Party, said that lakhs of posts are lying vacant in Uttar Pradesh, but the government is only giving assurances to the youth. Paper leaks, delays in recruitment, and keeping recruitments in limbo are playing with the future of the youth. Our party will stand with the youth in this fight, from the streets to the House of Representatives.
State General Secretary of the Yuva Morcha, Nishtha Dev, said that the youth of the state are not frustrated, but angry. The time for waiting is over. If employment is not found, the youth will not remain silent. If the government does not immediately implement a concrete employment policy and initiate timely recruitment, this movement will become more violent in every district. A large number of students, youth, and party workers were present at the event. Speakers demanded that the government immediately fill vacant positions and make the recruitment process transparent and timely.
