Prayagraj: On the auspicious occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, a large youth conference on the topic “The Role of Youth in Nation Building” was successfully held at the Sir PCB Hostel. A large number of young people participated in the conference and pledged to play an active role in nation building. Shiv Pratap (District Pracharak, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) was prominently present at the event. Haresh Pratap Singh (Member, Public Service Commission) and Rajiv Mishra (Estate Officer, Allahabad University) were also present as special guests. Addressing the conference, the speakers described Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts as a guide for today’s youth and said that only empowered, cultured, and patriotic youth can lay the foundation of a strong India. They called upon the youth to contribute to the upliftment of society and the country by following the path of education, service, discipline, and patriotism. At the end of the program, the youth resolved to assimilate Swami Vivekananda’s ideals into their lives and work continuously for nation-building.
