Prayagraj: A program was organized today at the Pragatisheel Samaj Party office to mark the birth anniversary of Karpuri Thakur, a prominent symbol of social justice and former Chief Minister. Party officials, workers, and youth paid tribute to him by garlanding his portrait. Addressing the program, Pragatisheel Samaj Party National President, Engineer Sunil Kushwaha, said that Karpuri Thakur was a strong voice for social justice, equality, and the rights of the backward and disadvantaged. He used politics as a medium for public service without any pretense. Today’s politics needs to learn from Karpuri Thakur’s ideals, where the last person in society is at the center, not power. Mr. Kushwaha said that today, when youth are struggling with unemployment and inequality, Karpuri Thakur’s ideas and struggles are more relevant than ever.

Women’s Front convener Manisha Mishra said that Karpoori Thakur’s struggle inspires women to get the right to education, respect and equality. Youth Front’s state general secretary Nishtha Dev said that Karpoori Thakur is an inspiration for the youth. He laid the foundation of an egalitarian society by linking education and social justice. Speakers at the event pledged to spread Karpoori Thakur’s ideas to the masses and follow the path shown by him. On this occasion, Engineer Yogesh Kushwaha, Rajkumar Singh, Satendra Bahadur, Archana Kushwaha, Sunita Devi, Farida Khatoon, Raunak, Ankit Singh and Rajan Anand along with many other workers were present.
