Chief guest of Chaupal, Gangapar District President Ashfaq Ahmed said that the double engine government of the country is bent on completely destroying the poor, Dalits and laborers. In 2005, the Congress government passed an ambitious scheme for the village poor (MNREGA), Mahatma Gandhi Employment Guarantee Scheme, in the Parliament, in which the poor people of the villages got the opportunity to work in the villages. In this MNREGA scheme, there was a guarantee of giving 100 days of work to the village labourersBut the present Godse government hated the name of Mahatma Gandhi, due to which not only the name of this ambitious MNREGA but its entire constitutional form was changedTherefore, the Congress Party will continue the fight from the village chaupal to the Parliament demanding its restoration in its old form.
