Prayagraj: Rotary Prayagraj Platinum successfully organized a CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training and awareness program on Sunday at the Medical College Alumni Building in Prayagraj. The program’s objective was to raise awareness about life-saving techniques essential for saving lives in heart attacks and other emergencies, and to train as many members of society as possible.

At the event, renowned CPR experts, Rotarian Dr. Ritu Gupta and Dr. Anuj Gupta, provided participants with scientific and practical information about CPR. They explained that the first few minutes of cardiac arrest are crucial, and that a life can be saved if CPR is administered correctly and promptly. During the training, participants were also given practical CPR practice on a dummy model.

Speaking on the occasion, Rotarian Dr. Ritu Gupta said, “CPR is a life-saving technique that everyone should learn. Timely action in an emergency can save a family from losing a loved one. Our goal is to train as many people as possible in this skill.”

Club President Rotarian Dr. Pratik Pandey said, “Rotary has always been dedicated to social causes. Programs like CPR training play an important role in making society safe and aware. We are pleased that our members are learning this vital lifesaving skill while also serving.”

A large number of Rotarians including Rotary Prayagraj Platinum members Dr. Nitin Sharma, Nitin Chopra, Sanjay Singh, Sanjay Talwar, Anuj Kesarwani, Preeti Kesarwani, Sanjeev Kesarwani, Lavkush Kesarwani, Swati Kesarwani, Arvind Agarwal, Rumi Agarwal, Deepak Gupta, Manish Garg, Punita Garg, Rajat Kapoor, Manoj Jaiswal, Vikas Narang, Sandeep Jain, Pramay Mittal, Jaya Mittal, Dr. Rajni Shukla, Jai Kumar, Ritesh Singh and Ajay Sharma participated in the program.

In addition, members of the public, doctors from the medical college, nursing staff, and health workers also participated in the training and learned about life-saving techniques. All participants enthusiastically participated in the training and understood the nuances of CPR through practical exercises. Rotarian Manish Garg, media in-charge of the club, said, “Today’s program is not just a training session, but an important campaign to increase awareness about life-saving in society. Rotary Prayagraj Platinum will continue to organize such public welfare and awareness-based programs in the future so that more and more people can become capable of saving lives in emergency situations.”

Following the training, participants were awarded certificates. All present and participants praised the program, calling it extremely useful and inspiring. At the end of the program, trainers Dr. Ritu Gupta and Dr. Anuj Gupta were thanked. This training camp was an excellent example of Rotary Prayagraj Platinum’s commitment to service, health awareness, and social welfare.
