Birth anniv of freedom fighter Savarkar celebrated by Savarkar Vichar Manch
Prayagraj: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Savarkar Vichar Manch (Prayagraj) celebrated the birth anniversary of Swatantrya Veer Savarkar with great enthusiasm on Thursday. Rajju Bhaiya Nagar, Prayagraj South, organized a program to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swatantrya Veer Savarkar at the Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Rajrooppur. Charu Mitra Pathak was the keynote speaker. Highlighting Savarkar’s contribution to the freedom movement, he recounted the torture and hardships he endured in the Cellular Jail, Andaman, also known as Kala Pani. He recalled his unwavering determination to fight for freedom despite working as a bull in a mill. Calling for a society not to be divided along caste lines, he recalled Savarkar’s adherence to the ideology of Hindutva and his dedication to the cause of Hindu upliftment. Ravi Prakash, the city Sanghchalak of Rajju Bhaiya Nagar, Surendra and Akhilesh, the city Sanghchalaks of Shriram Nagar, and others also spoke. The program was conducted by Bhupendra, the city in-charge of Rajju Bhaiya Nagar. Present on this occasion were Vansh Narayan, the head of the family enlightenment department, Manoj, the head of the department, Virendra, the co-head of the department, Ravinath, Chandrabhushan, Amit, Jagjit, Vikas, Jai Babu, Aviral, Vinod, Himanshu, Alok, etc. Volunteer Ramanuj concluded the program with Vande Mataram.
