Explains various provisions of Goods and Services Tax Act

Prayagraj: A discussion was organized by the Central Goods and Services Tax Department, Prayagraj in the premises of IFFCO Phulpur on various provisions of the Goods and Services Tax Act and the challenges faced in their compliance. Addressing this program as the chief guest, Commissioner, Central Goods and Services Tax, Shri Vijay Kumar Singh, IAS, congratulated Dr. Uday Shankar Awasthi, Managing Director of IFFCO, on behalf of the International Cooperative Society, ICA. On behalf of him, he congratulated all the officers and employees of IFFCO Phulpur for being honored with the Rochdale Pioneers Award. He expressed hope that the movement for nano fertilizers going on under the leadership of Dr. Awasthi will soon reach the pinnacle of success. On behalf of his department, he assured full cooperation to IFFCO. At the beginning of the program, Santosh Kumar Singh, Joint General Manager (Finance and Accounts), IFFCO Phulpur welcomed the Commissioner by giving him a bouquet and wearing a shawl. After the program, the entire team of Central Goods and Services Tax Department, Prayagraj including the Commissioner visited the Nano plant located at IFFCO Phulpur. Here the team was welcomed by Mr. Arun Kumar, Joint General Manager (Nano). After this, all the guests went to Cordet, where Dr. Harishchandra, Principal, Cordet, welcomed the Commissioner. The Commissioner himself flew the drone and inquired with interest about all the activities in Cordet.
