Kesarwani Vaishya Sabha celebrated Maharishi Kashyap Muni Jayanti with great pomp

Prayagraj: A celebration of Maharishi Kashyap Muni’s birth anniversary was held in the premises of Kesar Vidyapeeth Inter College, located at Chowk. The Kesarwani Education Committee and the Nagar Kesarwani Vaishya Sabha jointly organized the event. Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani and Dr. Sumant Gupta garlanded Kashyap Muni’s portrait and lit a lamp.

The Mayor said that sages and saints paved the way for the nation’s progress through sacrifice and penance. Dr. Sumant Gupta, National President of the Vaishya Samaj, called on the Vaishya Samaj to follow the path shown by these ideal men. Sirsa President Lakhan Lal Kesari and Koraon President Om Prakash Kesari were the special guests.

Shiv Kumar Vaishya, president of the Kesarwani Education Committee, was also present. He thanked his fellow citizens for remembering Kashyap Muni. Program coordinator Satish Chandra Kesarwani welcomed the guests. He said that society needs to unite in today’s context.
