Prayagraj: Kisan Mela will be organized at SHUATS Krishi Vigyan Kendra Prayagraj on Saturday. The fair will be inaugurated by Dr. Seema Yadav, Senior Scientist of Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI) Kanpur at 11.30 am. The chief guest on the occasion will be Pro VC (Admin.) Prof Dr Bishwarup Mehera while Director Extension Dr Praveen Charan will preside over the function. KVK incharge Dr Mukesh P. Masih will supervise the Farmer’s fair.

 Exhibition of small agricultural equipment, different seed varieties etc. will be made available in the Kisan Mela and technical information will also be given to the farmers. Farmers will also be made aware of various schemes provided by the government and their benefits. Around 300 farmers from Kaundhiyara Pratappur Jasra Soraon Shankargarh Saidabad Mauaima Blocks will participate in the Mela.
