Progress – Towards Self-Respect and Success 2.0 held

Prayagraj: The Mandaliya Bal Utsav, Pragati – Towards Self-Respect and Success – 2.0 was organized in the premises of Adarsh ​​Composite School, CPI Nagar Area, Prayagraj. The chief guest of the program, Matsya Nath Trivedi, Joint Development Commissioner, Prayagraj inaugurated the Bal Utsav. The children presented stories of self-respect and success along with a grand cultural program. Meena Manch alumni from all the districts of the division shared their stories of struggle and success. Parents from all the districts of the division also shared the changes that took place after joining Meena Manch and their children creating awareness in the society, and also told about the struggles in the lives of their children. Many Meena Manch facilitators shared their memories, highlighting the changes brought about by the Power Angel of Meena Manch operating in their schools.

In the programme, all the master trainers of Self Esteem Programme of Prayagraj district set up five theme based stalls in which children got an opportunity to express their dreams. District Nodal of Girl Education Shatrunjay Sharma told that Meri Badlaav Ki Kahani, Comic Book Making and Poster Making activities were conducted at the district level. Based on the result of which 10-10 participants selected from all the four districts of the division, i.e. a total of 40 participants, gave their expressions at the stalls. Which were evaluated by the lecturers from DIET Prayagraj, Kaushambi Pratapgarh. A quiz competition was also organised in which District Nodal of Pratapgarh Ashutosh Nirmal and Antariksh Shukla cooperated. The programme was conducted by Block Nodal, City Area Anuragini Singh.

Harischandra Giri, Block Education Officer, Divisional Headquarters, stated that the 10 selected students, along with one teacher/Meena Manch facilitator from their school, and two parents and Meena Manch alumni from each district, participated in the divisional-level program. Fifty students from the divisional headquarters district of Prayagraj also participated in the Children’s Festival.

Additional Director General of Basic Education, Sanjay Kushwaha, stated that all selected students from different districts of the division were divided into five groups based on their total number. Each group participated in one stall activity at a time and then moved on to the next, giving each student the opportunity to participate in all five stalls. Students received a minimum of one point and a maximum of five points based on their performance at each stall. After the completion of all stall activities, the jury from the Diet and the District Nodal Officer combined the total points to select the 10 best-performing students as Champions of Change for the state-level program. The names of the 10 selected students have been sent to the State Project for the state-level program. The state-level Champions of Change program will be held at the end of February.
