Prayagraj: There is a sad atmosphere in the Muslim areas regarding the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali Ibn Abu Talib Alaihissalam, the successor of the Prophet of Islam, on the 19th, 20th and 21st of the holy month of Ramadan. Today, on the 20th of the month of Ramadan, after offering Fajr prayers under the leadership of Maulana Syed Jawwadul Haider Rizvi Sahib at the Masjid Qazi Sahib Bakshi Bazaar, the lights of the mosque were switched off and the Majlis started. Dr. Rizwan Haider Rizvi Sahib addressed the gathering and seriously described the life of Hazrat Ali and his deeds during his caliphate. He also mentioned in detail about the torture, will and advice to the children. In the mosque, the worshippers mourned by raising the slogans of Ya Ali Maula Haider Maula. Similarly, a Majlis was also held on the occasion of Shab-e-Martyrdom at Dariyabad Imambara Arab Ali Khan. The mourners recited the painful mourning. Maulana Zabir Abbas addressed the gathering at Masjid Gada Hussain. Maulana Amirur Rizvi addressed the gathering at Karaila Bagh Musalla-e-Zeeshan, while Anjuman Gulzare Qasmi recited the mourning. The procession of Shabih Taboot Alam and Zuljanah was taken out late in the night from the house of Nawab Nanhe Marhoom located at Rani Mandi Chakiya Neem. According to the organizer Asghar Abbas, before the procession, Zaighum Abbas recited Marsiya, while Zakir-e-Ahlebait Raza Abbas Zaidi recited the sad Masaib, and the sounds of crying mixed with sobs kept making the atmosphere more serious. Anjuman Shabbiria Rani Mandi, Anjuman Mazloomia Rani Mandi, Anjuman Abbasia Rani Mandi, Anjuman Guncha-e-Qasimiya Bakshi Bazaar, Anjuman Naqvia Dariyabad took out a procession by singing Noha in a series which after roaming in various streets, culminated at Chhamman Khan’s house. Hasan Naqvi, Gauhar Kazmi, Manzar Karrar, Syed Mohammad Askari, Mirza Azad Hussain, Qibla Naqvi, Raunak Safipuri, Najeeb Allahabadi, Shahid Abbas Rizvi, Dr. Abrar, Faiz Jafri, Hussain Mehndi, Sadiq Hussain, Neyazul Hasan, Hashim Bandvi, Haider Mehndi, Faiz Raza, Abid Hussain, Shiraz Rahib, Sadiq, Hasnain, Kaifi etc. along with Rajan Abbas, Arshad, Irshad Hussain, Mohd. Faiz, Imran etc. were included.

The coffin procession will be taken out in the morning under candlelight: On the twenty-first of Ramzan, after the Fajr prayer, from Masjid Qazi Saheb Bakshi Bazaar, the coffin procession will be taken out in the morning under candlelight on the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him). According to Syed Mohammad Askari, General Secretary of Ummul Baneen Society, the second big procession will start at 9 am from Imambara Azam Hussain and Imambara Abidya located in Rani Mandi, which will go to Karbala located in Chakia via Rani Mandi Bachha Ji Dharamshala, Chadha Road, Kotwali, Nakhas Kohna Khuldabad Himmatganj. Similarly, in Dariyabad too, processions will be taken out from different places on the martyrdom of Amirul Momineen.
