Prayagraj: Hundreds of Congress leaders and workers in Bahria, led by Gangapar District President Ashfaq Ahmed, gathered in Bahria to file a complaint at the Bahria police station demanding an impartial investigation and legal action against Satish Mahana, who left the venue mid-event during the national anthem in Unnao. Ahmed called it an insult to the nation and said that when responsible leaders engage in such indecency and disrespect for the national anthem, it is highly condemnable, shameful, and brings shame upon the nation. The Congress Party strongly condemns this act and demands strict action against Satish Mahana by filing a case against him under relevant sections. 

The public will never forgive him for this heinous crime. Ahmed has demanded from the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh that the CCTV footage be obtained, investigated, and strict legal action be taken against him. The Congress Party condemns and denounces this act. Prominent Congress leaders who participated in the protest and submitted the memorandum included former student union president Dinesh Yadav, Shamsul Qamar, Fafamau in-charge Manju Maurya, Dr. Amar Singh Patel, Rakesh Paswan, Sunil Pandey, war room in-charge Saddam Hussain Siddiqui, Suresh Patel, Ritesh Pasi, Mohammad Farooq, Mohammad Arman, Surya Bhan Kushwaha, senior Maurya, Ramesh Maurya, Shyamji Dhuria, Haribhan Singh Singrour, Nandu Pasi, Indrajit Patel, Dheeraj Patel, Keshav Chandra Maurya, Sangeeta Patel, Rekha Patel, Sushma Pal, Gyan Chandra Maurya, Mohammad Wasim, Photo Devi, Satyavati Gautam, Prabhavati Pal, Ashok Kumar Gautam, and Anwar  People like Ali, Harsh Patel, Nanhe, Mahendra Kumar etc. were present.
