Prayagraj: During the Abbas-Rai Media Premier League, a cricket tournament being held in the city in memory of two deceased journalists, chief guest Rajiv Ranjan Aggarwal, President of Rotary Allahabad, announced that Rotary Allahabad will support the education of the son of the late journalist Devendra Rai until his intermediate level. The son is currently in grade 6. He also said that the cheque will be given to his wife on the day of the final of the tournament. While thanking the organizers of the tournament, he said that in today’s times, it is a big thing that people remember their friends. On this occasion, Rotary Allahabad’s Secretary and office bearers Dr. Ashok Shukla, Vibhu Agarwal and Amitabh, former President of Rotary Allahabad were also present. Amitabh ji said in his address that more people should also come forward for such work. Organizing Secretary Amit Srivastava expressed his gratitude to Rotary Allahabad.
