State Council of Bharat Card and Guide UP meet held
Comilla Award for outstanding work at 19th Jamboree
Prayagraj: The State Council meeting of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Uttar Pradesh, was held at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, on February 14th, in the presence of Dr. Prabhat Kumar, State Chief Commissioner, and chaired by State President Dr. Mahendra Singh. Officials who performed outstandingly at the 19th National Jamboree were honored. District School Inspector/District Chief Commissioner, Prayagraj, P.N. Singh, and District Secretary, Dr. P.P. Singh, were honored for their outstanding performance at the Jamboree from Prayagraj district. District Secretary, Dr. P.P. Singh, representing District Chief Commissioner P.N. Singh, received a certificate of honor and a Shardul. Piyush Kumar Singh, A.L.T. Scout Assistant District Secretary, participated in the State Council meeting as a representative of District Commissioner Scout, District Basic Education Officer, Prayagraj, Anil Kumar. During the program, a short film based on the Jamboree’s achievements was presented, and the contributions of various departments, media, and supporting organizations were appreciated. On this occasion, teachers Anil Shukla and Surendra Pratap Singh of Prayagraj who completed the HWB course were presented with parchment and honorable charge and as a prize in the BSG knowledge competition, Anshuman from Cub section and Reshu Kushwaha from Bulbul section were presented with a cheque of Rs. 1000 each. Assistant Regional Organization Commissioner Prayagraj Division Prayagraj Sundaram Shukla was present on this occasion. On the high-quality performance of Prayagraj district in the Jamboree, District Chief Commissioner/District School Inspector P.N. Singh, District Commissioner Scout/District Basic Education Officer Anil Kumar, District Commissioner (Cub) Virendra Kanaujia, District Commissioner Guide Dr. Sarita Verma, Headquarters Commissioner Dr. Santosh Singh, Commissioner Resource Dr. Dilip Awasthi and District Training Commissioner/DSM Firoz Alam Khan congratulated and wished all the Jamboree participating Scout Guides, Unit Leaders and concerned Principals for the honour received by the district.
