Prayagraj: On the auspicious occasion of International Women’s Day and Holi Milan, a grand felicitation ceremony was organized by the Lok Sevak Mandal, All India Women’s Branch, Prayagraj, and Anaam Sneh Parivar. The program began with the lighting of lamps.
Chief Guest, Justice Vipin Chandra Dixit (Allahabad High Court), honored 25 women who have done outstanding social work in the society by presenting them with robes, mementos, bouquets, and garlands. Subhash Rathi presided over the program and Brahmaprakash Tiwari, Secretary of the Lok Sevak Mandal, conducted the proceedings. Employee leader Ravi Shankar Mishra presented the vote of thanks.
In his address, Justice Vipin Chandra Dixit stated that it is essential for women to remain healthy and respected. He added that only in homes where women are respected can children’s all-round development be possible. Women have proven their talents globally, even winning the World Cup to mark their strong presence. He also emphasized that the power of motherhood plays a crucial role in imparting values, education, and direction to children’s lives.

Program coordinators Mrs. Madhu Yadav and Shrinarayan Yadav honored 25 women from the city for their outstanding contributions to the social sector. Prominent among those honoured were Yamunotri Gupta, Dr. Bina Singh, Kanta Chopra, Dr. Purnima Singh, Preeti Rani Dubey, Amrita Agrahari, Dr. Sonal Khare, Premlata Shukla, Sulochana, Farida Parveen, Hina Khan, Saroj Jaiswal, Abha Mishra, Anjali Verma, Punita Mishra, Sandhya Singh, Alpana Jaiswal, Radha Kannaujiya, Mamta Yadav, Dr. Sudha Pandey, Poonam Singh, Ragini, Padma, Priya Rawat, Kajal, Zia Khan and Padmavati, among others. At the end of the program, hundreds of women and men applied abir-gulal to each other and played Holi with flowers, spreading the message of mutual harmony and love. Many dignitaries, including employee leaders Phoolchand Yadav, Lavlesh Singh, Saurabh, and Raghubir Mishra, were present at the event.
