Prayagraj: Seven days NSS special camp was organised in the Indalpur village near Faculty of Health Sciences focused on youth empowerment and environmental conservation. In the valedictory session the chief guest was Lt. Col. Deepak Sharma, Officer Commanding New Cantt, Prayagraj, he motivated the NSS volunteers to give their best in the true spirit of the National Service Scheme. The Guest of honour was Aron Alexander, Finance Comptroller, SHUATS Prayagraj, encouraged NSS volunteers in the social work and focused on cleanliness and plantations. NSS Programme Coordinator Prof. Dipak Kumar Bose welcomed the Chief Guest with a shawl and a momento and highlighted the crucial role of NSS in the personality development, leadership of students through community service and fostering a sense of social responsibility. Dr.Prashant Ankur Jain welcomed the Guest of honour. Assistant NSS coordinator Satyam Kumar Kesari give details information amount the 7 days camp. NSS Programme Officers Dr. Hira Bose, Dr.Mukesh Kumar Maurya, Bipin Kumar Singh and Mr. Anup Masih were conducted cultural activities. Chief Guest distributed the prize to the winners of the different cultural activities and also provided participation certificate to the NSS volunteers.
