As part of the extensive redevelopment work going on at Prayagraj Junction station, construction work on the city side is also proposed to be started from 15th April 2026.

With the commencement of construction work, parking facility of vehicles in the station premises on the city side will be completely prohibited from 15th April 2026 till further orders. Parking is available on the Civil Lines side of Prayagraj Junction. Passengers who need to park their vehicles can use this facility.

The Railway Administration requests all passengers and general public to cooperate during this period and use the parking facility on the Civil Lines side to maintain smooth traffic system. Additionally, efforts are underway to develop alternative arrangements on the city side. Limited parking will be resumed on the city side as soon as appropriate arrangements are in place.
