Prayagraj: Girls’ High School and College observed its Annual Prize Days with great enthusiasm and pride on for the Pre-Primary and Junior Section, and on Saturday for the Middle School, Senior, and College Section. The occasion honoured the dedication, perseverance, and remarkable achievements of the students. The ceremony commenced with the Prayer, invoking divine blessings, followed by a reading from the Holy Scripture. On 24th April 2026, Dr. Rinku Chongdar, a distinguished gynecologist and obstetrician at Nazareth Hospital, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the Junior Section. On 25th April 2026, Mr. Swastik Bose, Principal of Anglo Bengali Inter College, graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest for the Middle School, Senior, and College Section.
The Principal, Rev. Dr. V. Eusebius, warmly welcomed the esteemed guests and felicitated the award winners. In her inspiring address, she expressed heartfelt appreciation to parents and teachers for their unwavering support and encouraged students to remain curious, dream big, and strive for excellence. Awards were conferred on class toppers for outstanding academic performance. Special recognition was given to students who secured full marks in English, Hindi, and Mathematics, earning the title of “Super Achievers.”
The following prestigious awards were presented: Principal’s Trophy for the ICSE Topper – Nitya Gupta, Principal’s Trophy for the ISC Topper – Vaibhavi Jaiswal. Principal’s Trophy for the All-Rounder (Class XII)- Ananya, Geetanjali Rai Award for Best in English- Netri Jain, English Prize- Bailey House, Hindi Prize- Bailey House, Mathematics Prize- Bailey House and Best in Sports – Saanvi Ghosh and Angel Kesarwani.
The Bailey (Green) House was awarded the Cock House Shield for its commendable all-round performance and excellence across all domains. The sight of students receiving awards for academic excellence, perfect attendance, exemplary conduct, and co-curricular achievements filled parents and teachers with immense pride. The joy and enthusiasm made the occasion truly memorable. The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by Mrs. Smriti Singh, followed by the National Anthem.
