Prayagraj: The Official Club Visit (OCV) of Rotary Prayagraj Platinum was organized in a grand manner at Hotel Ram Continental, Civil Lines. Rotarian Dr. Ashutosh Agarwal, District President of Rotary District 3120, was present as the chief guest in the program. He gave a detailed review of the service works done by the club in the last 10 months and appreciated the work done for the poor, needy and suffering sections of the society. More than 130 Rotarians were present in the program with great respect. Cultural presentations made the event even more attractive and memorable.

Club President Rotarian Dr. Pratik Pandey stated that Rotary Prayagraj Platinum has successfully completed 92 service projects in just 10 months, and 13 more are planned for June. All of these projects are dedicated to helping the poor, elderly homes, orphanages, specially-abled children, and the needy. He also stated that the club has set a new record by adding 52 new members, the highest number in the district. Additionally, the club has made significant contributions totaling approximately $25,000 to the Global Grant and Rotary Foundation.

Rotary Prayagraj Platinum received the highest registration awards at three district events. The club also received several prestigious honors, including Best Club, Best President, Best Secretary, Retention Champions, and Best District Officers. Through the “Rakt Arpan” service, the club provides blood to those in need daily in Prayagraj.

Chief guest Rotarian Dr. Ashutosh Agarwal, while praising the works of the club in his address, said that Rotary Prayagraj Platinum has done excellent works like flood relief campaign, free orthopedic clinic for senior citizens, free homeopathy clinic, free cataract operation, mega blanket distribution in severe cold, installation of water coolers at major intersections and construction of waiting area tin shed in Naini Central Jail, which are a source of inspiration for other clubs. Club Secretary Rotarian CA Sanjay Talwar, while presenting his report, said that this year the club has a target of completing service projects worth more than Rs 1.2 crore.

Media in-charge Manish Garg stated that a total of 52 new members have joined the club this year, including 30 in the current session and 22 at the beginning of the session. The club also received the distinction of having the best media and social media coverage in District 3120. On this occasion, DGRH Rotarian Ajay Sharma and Assistant Governor Rotarian Amrita Agarwal also commended the club for its excellent work throughout the year. At the end of the program, Charter President Rotarian Ritesh Singh expressed his gratitude to all the guests and members present.
