Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya along with several party leaders attended the Trayodashi rituals and tribute meeting of late PC Joshi ji and reached KP Community Hall and paid tribute. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya reached KP Community Hall and paid emotional tribute to late Joshi ji in the Trayodashi Sanskar and Shraddhanjali Sabha of late PC Joshi ji, husband of former Cabinet Minister and former MP Professor Rita Bahuguna Joshi. Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey, Uttar Pradesh Minister Suresh Rahi, Sitapur MLA Ramkrishna Bhargava, former MP Vinod Sonkar, Rajya Sabha MP Pramod Tiwari, former MP Kunwar Revati Raman Singh, Pindra MLA Awadhesh Singh, Madiaun MLA Leena Tiwari, MLA Vachaspati, former Mayor Jitendra Nath Singh, President of High Court Bar Association Rakesh Pandey, former MLC Suresh Tripathi, former District Panchayat President Ashok Singh, Vidyut Agrahari, former BJP Metropolitan President Ranjit Singh, Father Vipin D’Souza, Director of Nazareth Hospital, all office bearers of Civil Lines Vyapar Mandal, Congress leader Vijay Mishra, members of Jagriti Club, Northern Railway Men’s Union, All India Railway Men’s Federation, Thakur Harnarayan Singh’s Uday Pratap Singh, former Minister Ashok Bajpai, MLA Harshvardhan Bajpai, student leader Raghunath Dwivedi, former Minister Rakesh Dhartripathi, Dharmaraj Maurya, District President Kaushambi, former MP Banda Ramesh Chand Dwivedi, MP Praveen Patel, current councillors and former councillors, along with all the friends of late Joshi ji, thousands of people were present. Senior members of the family including former Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna, Shekhar Bahuguna, Sudha Bahuguna, Vinita Bahuguna, Mayank Joshi and daughter-in-law Richa Joshi met the visitors and expressed their gratitude to everyone.
Leaders from small to big, irrespective of their political ideology, were seen attending the Trayodashi Sanskar of late P.C. Joshi ji. Leaders from every party like BJP, SP, Congress, BSP came to pay tribute to the soul of late P.C. Joshi ji. A large number of people from most of the districts of the entire state reached Prayagraj and paid tribute to late Pooran Chandra Joshi ji. Trayodashi Sanskar of late P.C. Joshi, husband of Prof. Rita Bahuguna Joshi, was organised at KP Community Centre in Prayagraj. Thousands of well-wishers of the Bahuguna family from across the state, especially Prayagraj, arrived to pay tribute to the departed soul.
Significantly, political party boundaries blurred, and leaders and workers from various political parties in Uttar Pradesh were present. Top leaders Rajnath Singh, J.P. Nadda, and Kalraj Mishra couldn’t make it, but they called to offer condolences and comfort Prof. Rita Bahuguna Joshi. Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta also offered his condolences over the phone. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brijesh Pathak, former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, and numerous ministers and former ministers, including Leader of the Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey, numerous current and former MPs, MLAs, current councillors, former councillors, business organizations, and social organizations, especially minority leaders, visited Prayagraj to pay tribute to the late Joshi. It appeared that the Bahuguna family’s influence remains strong in Uttar Pradesh, and Professor Rita Bahuguna Joshi, in her 35-year political career, has further strengthened it and cultivated a popular image.
