Prayagraj: Prayagraj Division of North Central Railway has achieved a historic feat in the field of ticket checking by achieving the Highest Ever Single Day Ticket Checking Earning of : Rs. 48.50 lakh on 23 May 2026. This achievement not only marks a significant increase over the earnings of : Rs. 26 lakh earned on the same date last year, but also surpasses the record of Highest Single Day Earning of Rs. 45 lakh previously set by the Board. The details of income earned by ticket checking staff of different categories are given below:

Squad Staff: Rs. 26.00 Lakh, Amenity Staff: Rs. 16.00 Lakh, Stationery Staff: Rs. 6.50 lakh.

This unprecedented achievement is the result of intensive ticket checking campaign, continuous monitoring and coordinated working methodology being run by Prayagraj Division under the guidance of Principal Chief Commercial Manager Shri Brijesh Kumar, inspirational leadership of Divisional Railway Manager Prayagraj Division Shri Rajneesh Agarwal and able direction of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Shri Harimohan.

In this vein, last month, the division’s five highest-earning squad staff and five highest-earning amenity staff were honored with certificates. This initiative has boosted the morale of ticket-checking staff and fostered a better work culture. This honor scheme will continue in the future, and employees with outstanding performance and high earnings will continue to be honored.

As a result of continuous efforts, effective monitoring and incentive measures being taken by the Division, ticket checking revenue is continuously registering significant increase.
