Prayagraj: On Friday, Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi visited the scene of the triple murder in Kukur Katwa village, Meja, Prayagraj. Minister Nandi met with the families of the deceased, offering condolences and reassuring them that strict action would be taken against the culprits.
On Monday night, 65-year-old Shyam Lal Gupta, 58-year-old Indravati Devi, and 52-year-old Amravati Devi were brutally murdered in Kukur Katwa village, under the Meja police station area. Their bodies were found outside their home. Police have arrested three people, including the main accused, Himanshu Yadav. Himanshu has been hospitalized after being injured in a police encounter. The victim’s family expressed their concern to Minister Nandi, stating that the accused may commit a similar crime again after being released from jail, leaving the family feeling threatened. Minister Nandi inquired about the entire incident from the family and assured them that the perpetrators would not be spared. Minister Nandi also reviewed the incident on the spot with ADM Administration Upma Pandey and ACP SP Upadhyay. Minister Nandi issued strict instructions to officials to thoroughly investigate the entire matter and take strict action against the culprits.
Speaking to media at the scene, Minister Nandi said that the recent murder of three people in Kukur Kataiya village in Meja is a heartbreaking and tragic incident. Whoever committed this audacious act will not be spared. The action will be such that it will set an example and be remembered by their seven generations. We will repent a hundred times before attempting such a daring act again. Such action will be taken against the culprits. The government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the past nine years, has undertaken the task of eradicating crime and criminals. Action is ongoing. Some criminals have left the state and city, while others have left the world.
Minister Nandi stated that the victim’s family from Kukur Kataiya village is deeply frightened and scared. They demand a meeting with the Chief Minister. Following this, the Chief Minister will arrange an appointment with the victim’s family and invite them to Lucknow to meet with the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister is fully informed of the entire incident and the proceedings through the police administration, media, and the LIO. Furthermore, the family will express their grief during their meeting with the Chief Minister, informing him of the entire incident and demanding action. It is certain that the perpetrators will not be spared, and the victim’s family will receive justice.
