Prayagraj: 80th Independence Day celebrated at IFFCO Ghiyanagar Phulpur. IFFCO Chairman Dilip Sanghani was the chief guest and Geetaben Sanghani was the special guest at the Independence Day ceremony . First the flag was hoisted and the national anthem was sung. Security Guard soldiers, children of Kendriya Vidyalaya Scout Guides marched past and IFFCO Chairman Dilip Sanghani was given a salute. Children of Kendriya Vidyalaya and Om Bal Vidya Mandir presented a wonderful cultural program. Chief guest Mr. Dilip Sanghani said that today is important because we should introspect about what we lost and what we gained after independence. India is an agricultural country, the soul of India resides in the rural areas. IFFCO’s contribution in the progress of farmers and agricultural development is important. We are emphasizing that farmers should use less chemical fertilizers because it is polluting water, soil and air. Due to the appeal of the government, the bag of 50 kg urea was reduced to 45 kg.
After getting the approval of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, after going through various processes, after 2 years, the Prime Minister launched Nano Urea in Gujarat, a 45 kg bag of Nano Urea will work equal to a 500 ml bottle. He said that we have decided that we will not transfer nano fertilizer technology abroad until we meet the needs of fertilizer shortage. Farmers are being continuously given training and information about the use of nano fertilizers. Seeing the importance of cooperation, in the 75th year of independence, a separate Ministry of Cooperation was formed, which is headed by Mr. Amit Shah and the country is continuously moving forward through cooperation.
Our organization IFFCO is continuously progressing. Employees and officers are making meaningful efforts to take it forward. In the press conference, he said that we import 50% of the fertilizer. Our thinking is that nano fertilizer is capable of meeting the 50% deficiency. Use of nano fertilizer is environment friendly which does not harm our air and soil. He said that for the progress and economic prosperity of the farmers, the government gives minimum support price so that they can get the price of their produce and also gives huge subsidy on fertilizers so that the cost does not affect the farmers of the country. In the press conference, he answered the questions of print and electronic media. He said that the government formulates agricultural policy keeping in mind the small and medium farmers and the government’s efforts in women empowerment are meaningful. IFFCO Chairman Mr. Dilip Singhani inaugurated the newly constructed technical building. Mrs. Geetaben Sanghani participated in the social concern activities of IFFCO Mahila Chetna Club. During this, Senior General Manager (Unit Head) PK Singh, Sarita Singh, HOD Human Resources Shambhu Shekhar, IFFCO Officers Association President Anurag Tiwari and General Secretary Swayam Prakash, IFFCO Employees Sangh President Pankaj Pandey and General Secretary Vijay Kumar Yadav were present.
