Prayagraj: Regarding the demolition of the mosque located inside the Collectorate in Saharanpur, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) officials and workers, led by Metropolitan President Afsar Mahmood, District President Yamunapar Shaukat Ali, and Youth District President Shariq Kaleem, submitted a memorandum to the President of India, addressed to Additional District Magistrate Satyam Mishra, demanding a judicial inquiry, action against the culprits, and the reconstruction of the mosque.

Metropolitan President Afsar Mahmood demanded the reconstruction of the mosque and appropriate legal action against those found guilty. He stated that the entire matter should be investigated impartially, and those found guilty should be prosecuted under the law. Bulldozers are not the only solution to every dispute. He emphasized that the administration must follow the law and the prescribed judicial process in any dispute. He said that the action should be fair and under the complete legal process. Those who submitted the memorandum mainly included State Secretary Mujibur Rahman Advocate, former District President Meraj Ahmed, Metropolitan Spokesperson Iftekhar Ahmed Mandar, Metropolitan Vice President Riazul Haq Chaudhary, Assembly President City West Zubair Ahmed, Taufiq Ahmed, Riaz Khan, Mushtaq Ahmed Advocate, Mohammad Arif, Mohammad Shahid, Insad Ali, Adnan Asgari, Mohammad Tauqeer, Mohammad Asad, Masoom Ahmed, Mohammad Usman, Ehsan Ali Khan, Mohammad Afzal Khan, along with many party officials and workers were present.
