Prayagraj: Inspired by Mandal President Uday Chandani and led by Environment Chairperson Mala Mishra, various affiliated clubs of Lions Club International planted trees in large numbers in Company Bagh and appealed for a tree to be planted in the name of Mother. All members took an oath to protect the environment by planting trees, cleaning the surroundings, reducing the use of polythene, preventing others from littering, and protecting land, water, and sky.
Media Chairperson Lalu Mittal said, “If we don’t wake up now, when will we? In the race for development, aren’t we paying the price of our own lives?” Humans have made unprecedented progress in science and technology.
