DCP City Sagar Jain directs subordinate officers to take immediate action

Prayagraj: On the instructions of the District Magistrate Prayagraj, a special meeting was held in the Triveni auditorium located in the Reserve Police Line under the District Vyapar Bandhu Committee to resolve the police-related problems of the traders. The meeting was chaired by DCP Nagar Sagar Jain with a heavy police force. On the instructions of the District Magistrate, a system has been started to hold a separate meeting for the police-related problems of the traders. Given the importance of the meeting, it is likely to be held every month to provide traders with an opportunity to present their problems directly to police officers. Metropolitan President of the All India Industry Trade Board, Animesh Agarwal, stated that a large number of representatives from various trade associations participated in the meeting and presented their concerns to the DCP (City). The meeting discussed several important issues, including encroachment, traffic jams, Chinese manjha (throwaway string), e-rickshaws, the haphazard Sunday street market in the Kotwali area, alcohol consumption inside vehicles in the Civil Lines area, anti-social elements applying black film on vehicle windows, and parking arrangements on both sides of the stretch from Niranjan Cinema to Ghantaghar. Taking the traders’ concerns seriously, DCP (City) Sagar Jain directed the concerned subordinate officers to take immediate necessary action. President of the Shahganj Sarva Vyapar Mandal, Animesh Agarwal, demanded an increase in police pickets in the market, effective action against drug addicts, and a solution to the parking problem. Appropriate instructions were issued to the concerned officials by the DCP City on this matter as well. Representatives of various trade organizations, including the Civil Lines Trade Board, Prayag Trade Board, Prayagraj Trade Board, Jhunsi Trade Board, Allahabad Hotel Association, District Women’s Trade Board, Roshan Bagh Trade Board, Barauli Trade Board, Dhumanganj Trade Board, and Phaphamau Trade Board, were present at the meeting. The officials listened to the traders’ problems and issued necessary guidelines for their resolution.
