Prayagraj: The Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education-Center for Ecological Restoration, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, hosted a grand and prestigious Rajbhasha Prashasti Kavi Sammelan under the joint auspices of the Tulsi Kavya Manch today, September 15, 2026, as part of the Hindi fortnight. The program was presided over by Center Head Dr. Sanjay Singh. Renowned poets Shailesh Gautam, Pandit Sunil Soumya, Rajkumar Sisodiya, Kartikeya Shukla, Kumar Vikas, Tulsi Kavya Manch coordinator Jai Awasthi, and Jyoti Shukla, among others, were present. The program’s objective was to promote respect for the Hindi language, promote the official language, and encourage the increased use of Hindi in official work. Guests and poets presented poetry on the importance of the Hindi language, its rich literary tradition, and its utility in contemporary times. Speaking on the importance of the Hindi language and its effective use, Chairman Dr. Sanjay Singh stated that Hindi is not only a medium of communication, but also a powerful language that connects our culture, literature, and emotions.
He presented a song on the theme of the forest. Shailesh Gautam gave a beautiful rendition of “Din ba din toota main…” and Pandit Sunil Soumya expressed the richness, sensibilities, and literary beauty of Hindi through his captivating poetry. Rajkumar Sisodiya highlighted the importance of Hindi and its widespread propagation through his powerful poetry. Kartikeya Shukla delighted the audience with his humorous and satirical compositions. Kumar Vikas and Jai Awasthi infused enthusiasm and energy into the program with their powerful and impressive poetic presentations. The poets’ performances moved the audience and instilled new energy and enthusiasm for Hindi literature. The program was conducted by Anubha Shrivastava and Jai Awasthi. Praveen Shekhar, Amitabh Kar, Alok Yadav, Kumud Dubey, Satyendra Dev Shukla, Ratan Gupta, Dharmendra, Ambuj, Chhotu, and guests present participated enthusiastically. The dignified presence of all the respected poets and speakers, thought-provoking speeches and brilliant poetic presentations made the Hindi Pakhwada celebration a huge success and memorable one.
