Prayagraj: On Monday, the Hindi Department of the Arts Faculty of Thakur Har Narayan Singh Degree College, Karailbag, Prayagraj, celebrated Hindi Day by organizing a poetry and speech competition. Approximately 300 undergraduate and postgraduate students participated in the program. Soumya Tripathi secured first place, Arabia Naushad second, and Aryan Yadav third. The chief guest, Deputy Director, Engineering, Mr. Vinay Pratap Singh, elaborated on the global status and scientific nature of Hindi. College Principal Dr. Ajay Kumar Govind Rao urged Hindi to be a common language and described it as the best medium of communication. The program was presided over by the committee’s chairman, Mr. Govind Bihari Mishra. The jury included Mr. Sandeep Kumar Singh, Mr. Vijay Anand Singh, and Dr. Subhash Chand. The program was coordinated by Dr. Ambika Prasad, Assistant Professor of Hindi. Dr. Jitendra Verma, Mr. Abhishek Srivastava, Dr. Priyanka Jaiswal, and Mr. Pawan Kumar Singh were present.
