Dadhikando Mela celebration of defeat of unrighteousness and victory of love, devotion and religion: Mayor
Prayagraj: Shri Krishna, Baladau, Mother Saraswati, Rukmini Devi and Radha Rani were worshipped. The counter-kirtan between Sachdeva Naughty and Kumari Kamleshwari Kanchan enthralled the people. Kansa Dahan and other rituals were organised at Kidganj Parade Ground by the Ancient Dadhikando Fair Committee, Krishna Nagar Triveni Marg, Kidganj. A grand Jawabi Kirtan and cultural program was organized. Before this, the patron of the committee and Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, following the tradition, performed pujan (worship) of Lord Shri Krishna, Balram, Mata Saraswati, Rukmini Devi and Radha Rani. After this, Lord Shri Krishna burnt the effigy of the unrighteous Kansa with his arrow. As soon as the effigy of the unrighteous Kansa was burnt, the devotees chanted Jai Shri Krishna and Balram Ji. Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani inaugurated the Jawabi Kirtan and cultural program, organized under the aegis of Sachdeva Shararati Kanpur and Kumari Kamleshwari Kanchan Chhatarpur Bundelkhand, by lighting a lamp. On this occasion, he said that the ancient Dadhikando fair is a gift from our ancestors, which is a celebration of the defeat of unrighteousness and the victory of love, devotion and religion, which gives the message that no matter how powerful the unrighteous are, their destruction is certain. On this occasion, he welcomed and congratulated the artists of the cultural and Jawabi Kirtan by presenting them mementos, dressing them in robes and garlanding them with flowers.
On this occasion, tableaux based on the Leela of Shri Krishna were presented and then Jawabi Kirtan was started. Sachdeva Shararati Kanpur and Kumari Kamleshwari Kanchan Chhatarpur Bundelkhand mesmerized the audience with their singing.
Media in-charge Rajesh Kesarwani said that the committee will organize a seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Katha along with Mangal Kalash Yatra from September 29. On this occasion, the devotees will be made to listen to the Bhagwat Katha by Pujya Batuk Ji Maharaj in the premises of Gyan Library, Kidganj. The program was conducted by TN Dixit and Manish Kesarwani and the coordinator was Ajay Jaiswal.
On this occasion, Rajesh Kesarwani, Kamlesh Pappu Kesarwani, Kamal Sardar, Manoj Sahu, Krishna Sahu, Ved Prakash Jaiswal, Khanne, Amresh Jaiswal, Raman Gupta, Shiv Narayan Srivastava, Councilor Rudrasen Jaiswal, Mukesh Kasera, Babban Prajapati, Vivek Agarwal, Pramod Jaiswal, Ajay Agrahari, etc., all the committee officials and workers were present.
