Children and women displayed their skills in various competitions
Prayagraj: The first phase of the Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti Celebrations 2026, organized under the aegis of the Shri Agrasen Agrawal Samaj, Prayagraj, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maharaja Agrasen, the founder of the Agrakul clan, began on Sunday with enthusiasm, joy, and traditional fervor. Organized by the Agrawal Mahila Mandal at Kunj Bihari Guest House, Rambagh, the program was attended enthusiastically by women, children, youth, and senior members of the community.
The program highlighted the life of Maharaja Agrasen Ji, his ideals, and his contributions to society, describing the spirit of “one brick and one rupee” as a symbol of social cooperation, equality, and self-reliance. Speakers said that Maharaja Agrasen Ji’s life inspires service, cooperation, brotherhood, and social harmony. His principles still inspire society to unite and move forward on the path of progress. Painting, flower pot decoration, and doll decoration competitions were held during the event. Participants displayed their creativity, artistic talent, and imagination.
Results of Painting Competition: In the age group up to five years, Prakritiyan Agarwal, Shreyanshi Agarwal, Ved Agarwal, Purva Agarwal and Alekhya Agarwal secured first to fifth positions respectively.
In the age group of 6 to 12 years, Samridhi Goyal, Sambhavi Agarwal, Aishvi Agarwal, Satvik Agarwal and Sanvi Agarwal secured first to fifth positions respectively.
In the age group of 13 to 18 years, Shreyanshi Agarwal, Aditi Agarwal, Anya Agarwal, Shubhangi Agarwal and Mukul Agarwal secured first to fifth positions respectively.
Results of Flower Pot Decoration Competition: Samridhi Goyal, Kunnika Agarwal, Aishvi Agarwal, Tanishka Agarwal and Swara Agarwal secured first to fifth positions respectively in the girls up to 15 years category.
In the category of girls and women above 15 years of age, Anshika Agarwal, Himani Agarwal, Anjali Agarwal, Pankhuri Agarwal and Sneha Agarwal secured first to fifth positions respectively.
Doll Decoration Competition Results: In the age group up to 15 years, Tanishka Agarwal, Aishwarya Agarwal, Vaishnavi Agarwal and Pihu Agarwal secured first to fourth positions respectively. In the category of girls and women above 15 years of age, Neha Agarwal, Anshika Agarwal, Sneha Agarwal, Anurupi Agarwal, Jyoti Agarwal, Aashi Agarwal and Pranjali Agarwal secured first to seventh positions respectively.
On this occasion, the coordinator of the birth anniversary celebration, CA Vinay Goyal, and the President of the Shri Agrasen Agrawal Samaj, Piyush Ranjan Agrawal, along with numerous officials and distinguished members of the society, were present. The Mahila Mandal welcomed and greeted all guests. At the program’s conclusion, the members pledged to embrace the ideals of Maharaja Agrasen in their lives and to further strengthen the spirit of unity, service, cooperation, and progress in society.
The Agrawal Mahila Mandal announced that various social, cultural, and entertainment programs will be organized in the coming days as part of the Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti celebrations, with active participation from all sections of society. Manish Garg, media in-charge of the Agrasen Agrawal Samaj, Prayagraj, appealed to all community members to participate in the upcoming programs in large numbers and spread the message of Maharaja Agrasen’s ideals and social unity to the masses.
