Children convey message of Gandhiji’s life, sacrifice, and non-violence via theatrical presentation
Prayagraj: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, HUDSA organized a special programme at Dadupur, Naini. During the programme, children presented a variety of cultural performances and theatrical acts based on Mahatma Gandhi’s personality, contributions, sacrifices and philosophy of non-violence, bringing his ideals to life.
The speakers said that Mahatma Gandhi’s thoughts have become even more relevant in today’s time. His messages of truth, non-violence, cleanliness, self-reliance, social harmony and humanity continue to serve as a guiding force for the younger generation. Developing an understanding among children about Gandhiji’s life, struggles and ideals is an important step towards nation-building.
On the occasion, children presented various episodes from Gandhiji’s life through engaging theatrical performances, leaving the audience deeply moved. Through their presentations, the children effectively conveyed Gandhiji’s message of “Truth and Non-Violence.”
The special attraction of the programme was when children dressed as Mahatma Gandhi cut a cake and paid tribute to his cherished memories, making the celebration of his birth anniversary truly memorable.
Kadambari Dwivedi, Rupa Chaturvedi, Nancy Yadav, Aman Maurya, Komal Mishra, Shadmeen Zahra, Huma Haider, Gunja Patel, Sarita Singh, Vandana Prajapati, Rudra Hari Mishra, Shiva Sonkar, Kabir Dwivedi, Aryan Singh, Shruti Maurya, Annu Singh, Chhavi Yadav, Abhi Patel and Kirti Mishra, among others, were present on the occasion.
