Prayagraj: Cantt High School, New Cantt, Prayagraj is organizing a Teachers’ Professional Development Program from October 5, 2026, to October 9, 2026, with the aim of professional development of teachers of Cantt Board School, Prayagraj, and to make the teaching-learning process more effective. The chief guest of the program was Nagesh Kumar Pandey, Chief Executive Officer, Cantt Board Prayagraj. The main theme of the program was “National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and its effective implementation in the teaching-learning process.”
Sanjay, Vice Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Old Cantt, was the guest speaker at the event. He provided teachers with detailed information about the key provisions of the National Education Policy 2020 and its effective implementation in school education. He highlighted the importance of student-centered education, activity-based learning, skill development, creative and critical thinking, and modern teaching methods.
Chief Guest Nagesh Kumar Pandey stated that continuous professional development of teachers is essential for improving the quality of education. He urged teachers to adopt innovative and effective teaching methods in accordance with the spirit of NEP 2020.
Teachers from Cantonment Board schools were present in the program and they actively participated in the training session. Through the program, teachers were motivated to make their teaching skills more effective and work towards the all-round development of the students. School Principal Mohammad Ansar expressed his gratitude to the honorable chief guest and the keynote speaker for attending the program. On this occasion, V.D. Shukla (Principal, Vikar Public School), Kalpana (Principal, R.A.B. Public School), Ashish Mishra (Principal, Udaan School), etc. were present. The program was conducted by senior teacher Rekha Mishra.
