Prayagraj: On Thursday, at the Shri Shri Bal Ramlila Samiti in Civil Lines, Prayagraj, Lord Shri Ram and his younger brother Bharat reunited after their 14-year exile. The play of Ram’s exile was enacted with great emotion. Kaikeyi’s request for two promises, King Dasharatha’s distraught disposition, and Lord Shri Ram’s subsequent departure to the forest, obeying his father’s command, moved the audience. The play began with King Dasharatha’s decision to hand over the throne to Shri Ram, seeing himself old. After discussions with Minister Sumant, the next day, Shri Ram’s coronation is announced. Hearing the news of the coronation, Manthara provokes Kaikeyi.

When Lord Rama refused to return from his exile in Chitrakoot, Bharata returned to Ayodhya with his sandals (sandals) and placed them on the throne, taking over the reins of the kingdom as Rama’s representative. Aarti of Lord Rama, Lakshmana, and Mother Sita was performed before the Ramlila began. The abduction of Sita will be staged on Friday.
