In the Haldi function, the decorations are different and all the hosts are wearing yellow clothes. Then there is mehendi, all the decorations are green in color and the clothes are in the same colour. Marriage is done with rituals, isn’t it? What kind of ritual is women’s music (ladies sangeet)? In this too, there are different decorations with big colorful LEDs, different themes and then what to talk about pheras, processions and receptions. There are often different dress code and theme for every function. I want to ask here whether there are no expenses in decoration of functions or the different colour themes which are specially kept for every function and different clothes are bought for it, are they available for free? A common man spends at least Rs 20 to 25 lakh on such events. This amount is quite high for a common man. But, there are no objections to the people who raise these issues. Get the services done for the urban people with this money. Get the roads in your area built with this money. You take this initiative, then of course expect from someone like Ambani.

Get married with good rituals in a court or temple; you will save lakhs of rupees from being wasted. Use this money to do social service and help the needy. Then, what is wrong in this? Sadly, you won’t be able to do it, because it is very easy to point a finger, but equally difficult to implement it for yourself. When your worth is worth thousands and you are spending lakhs and that too, on a wedding, then that person’s worth is worth billions, yet he has spent crores only. Do the math now.. Ambani ji has bought one of his oceans. They have taken out water from the river, the ocean also belongs to them, and the river also belongs to them, but the whole problem is ours. We are really very strange people. All the people who are raising questions, all of them are baseless. Needs will remain, there will be struggle for food, clothing and shelter.
