Prayagraj: In the 13th National Seed Congress held at Varanasi, organized by IRRI South Asia Regional Centre (ISARC) and National Seed Research & Training Centre (NSRTC) under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India, SHUATS scholars Shivam Rai and Nidhi Pandey from Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding won  Best Poster Presentation award.

Minister of state for horticulture, agriculture marketing, agriculture foreign trade, and agriculture export, Dinesh Pratap Singh while presenting certificates to SHUATS scholars, said that the deliberations and recommendations from the 13th National Seed Congress 2024 will act as a blueprint for strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s seed systems and making the state a hub for quality seed production.
