Prayagraj: Bharatiya Janata Party State Council member and former Kaushambi District President Ramesh Pasi died. District spokesperson Rajesh Kesarwani said that he was undergoing brain treatment at Lucknow Vedanta Hospital and there. He died at the age of about 60 years and his mortal remains were buried in his ancestral home. Naini was brought to his residence and he was cremated at Rasulabad Ghat. Due to his childlessness, nephew Manoj cremated him. He was the president of BJP Kaushambi district from 2016 to 2018. Presently he is a member of BJP state council and was formerly a member of Bharatiya Janata Party and served BJP on many posts. At his funeral, party leaders draped the Bharatiya Janata Party flag over his body and bid farewell with tearful eyes. MP Praveen Patel attended his funeral. MLA Deepak Patel, former MLA Prabhashankar Pandey, former MLA Sanjay Gupta, former MLA Lal Bahadur, Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, Regional Vice President Awadhesh Chandra Gupta, Metropolitan President Rajendra Mishra, Kaushambi District President Dharamraj Maurya, Anita Tripathi, Phulpur Nagar Panchayat President Amarnath Yadav, Varun Kesarwani Ravi, Hundreds of BJP members like Rajesh Kesarwani, Surendra Tripathi, Manoj Kumar Kushwaha, Jai Chandra Mishra, etc. participated and expressed condolences. And kept silence for 2 minutes and prayed to God for the peace of his soul.
