Today Shrimad Bhagwat Katha will be organized with Mangal Kalash Yatra

Prayagraj: The ancient Shri Dadhikando Mela Committee, Krishna Nagar Triveni Marg, Kydganj Prayag, following the historical tradition, organized the Kansa Vadh in Parade Ground, Kydganj. On this occasion, Lord Shri Krishna and Balram were applied the victory tilak after performing Akshat Aarti Puja. Thereafter, the 35 feet tall symbolic effigies of the tyrant Kansa and Charun were burnt by Lord Shri Krishna. After Kansa Vadh, people celebrated by bursting crackers and sweets were distributed. Thereafter, the Jawabi Kirtan of Kanpur’s famous Kirtan singer Kranti Mala and Kirtan singer of Prayagraj Ranjeet Raj and the cultural program were inaugurated by Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, he said that Lord Shri Krishna was born to establish Dharma and destroy Dharma.

He established Dharma Rashtra by ending the tyrannical rulers like Kansa, Dhritarashtra, Duryodhan, Dushasan, Shishupal, Jarasandh and gave the message to the world that no matter how powerful the tyrant and arrogant become, his end is certain and the historic Dadhikando fair is organized to give the message of victory of Dharma, destruction of Adharma and Bhagwad Gita of Lord Shri Krishna. Thereafter, the Jawabi Kirtan was started with Ganesh Vandana. Kranti Mala of Kanpur and Ranjit Raj of Prayagraj drenched the people in joy by singing Jawabi Kirtan. Media in-charge Rajesh Kesarwani told that on this occasion, a cultural program was organized in which the end of Bhasmasur by Lord Vishnu, end of Kansa by Krishna, friendship of Krishna Sudama, Maharas of Radha Krishna and Holi of flowers, Holi of ashes of Mahakal were presented. Thereafter, all the artists were honored by the Mayor by giving them Ang Vastra and a symbol.

Media in-charge Rajesh Kesarwani informed that the committee will organize the inauguration of the seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Katha in the premises of Gyan Library on September 10 at 4:00 pm. Prior to this, Mangal Kalash Yatra will be taken out from Gyan Library on September 9 at 4:00 pm and will reach the Katha venue, Gyan Library, through its designated route, after which the Katha will be inaugurated.

The program was coordinated by Prabal Committee coordinator Manish Kesarwani and the organizers of the Jawabi Kirtan were Pappu Kesarwani, Manoj Sahu and Kamal Sardar.

On this occasion, Krishna Sahu, Ajay Jaiswal, Amresh Jaiswal, Khanne Sonkar, Shiv Babu Sahu, Gopi Kesarwani, Rajesh Kesarwani, Lallan Jaiswal, councilor Mukesh Lara, Rudra Sen Jaiswal, Kiran Jaiswal, Nanka Sahu, Girjesh Mishra, T N Dixit, Rajan Shukla, Sunil Kumar Sonu and other committee officials were present.
