Prayagraj: The City Congress Committee members led by president Fuzail Hashmi paid homage and tributes to the great revolutionary Bhagat Singh on the118th birth anniversary by offering flowers at Azad martyr site in Azad park on Sunday morning.They said Shaheed-E-Azam Singh was a Colonial revolutionary who participated in the mistaken murder of British police officer intended to be retalian for the death of an Indian nationalist. Congressman commemorates his birth anniversary celebrated as a national hero and youth icon in India , his life exemplifies courage sacrifice and the spirit of rebellion against injustice , his ideals and   his unwareing commitment to the India’s freedom struggle. They also called upon the youths  to follow the ideals of great statesman. The former spokesman,  UPCC Kishore Varshney, Harikesh Tripathi, Parvej Siddique, Manas Shukla, Sushmita Yadav ,Anoop Tripathi, Afroz Ahmed, Pradeep Dwivedi, Rizwana Bano, Nafees Qureshi, Kameshwar Sonkar, Rajkumar Shukla, Satish Srivtastav and others were present.
