Prayagraj: The land of India is a place of sacrifice, penance and penance of sages and saints, where great revered saints were born, in this series, the great Sanskrit scholar and poet Maharishi Valmiki ji was also born, whose birth anniversary was celebrated with great pomp on Tuesday in the Valmiki temple located in the premises of Rishikul Higher Secondary School.
Like every year, the All India Shri Valmiki Youth Association celebrated the two-day birth anniversary of Maharishi Valmiki with great grandeur and divinity. On Tuesday, the Akhand Ramayana recitation concluded with aarti and puja. A procession of Maharishi Valmiki and Lord Rama’s sons, Luv and Kush, riding on a chariot was also taken out, and school students were also rewarded.
Former regional president of Bharatiya Janata Party Mahesh Chandra Srivastava and Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta attended Maharishi Valmiki temple and performed worship and aarti with Vedic chanting under the guidance of Amit Alok Pandey.
Former regional president Mahesh Chandra Srivastava, in his address, expressed his respect for Maharishi Valmiki ji and described him as the originator and propagator of Indian culture.
Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta said in his powerful address that Maharishi Valmiki ji is a symbol of strong will power and victory of humanity over cruelty.
BJP media in-charge Pawan Srivastava conducted the program and said that on the said occasion, tricycles were distributed to the handicapped people by Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta at the Bharatiya Janata Party office located in Civil Lines. During the program, National General Secretary of All India Valmiki Yuvak Sangh Jagdish Prasad, Harikrishna Valmiki, Vice President Punnulal, Pradeep Kumar, Vinod, Sandeep Chauhan, Anurag Sant, Councilor Neeraj Gupta, Alok Srivastava, Government Advocate Satya Prakash Srivastava, Rajiv Tandon, Gaurish Ahuja, Shankar Lal, Uttam Kumar, Rajesh Kumar Hunter, Manish Chauhan, Vijay Patel, Barkha Prakash, Nirmala Devi, Saroj Rani and many devotees were present.
