Prayagraj. The Brahmin community has welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision to ban the release of Net Fix’s film “Ghuskhor Pandit” and its comments regarding its title. Rakesh Shukla, International Vice President of the WBO World Brahmin Organization, welcomed the decision, stating that the Supreme Court’s order strongly criticized the nefarious attempts to defame the Brahmin community. The Supreme Court’s decision to change the film’s title clearly demonstrates that attempts to defame any community are unconstitutional and unacceptable in Indian democracy.

Rakesh Shukla explained that the Sarva Brahmin Mahasabha had previously issued a notice to the film’s director Vijay Pandit, actor Manoj Bajpayee, and Film and Television Institute of India Chairman Prasoon Joshi, issuing a stern warning. The film’s title was a nefarious attempt to tarnish the image of the Brahmin community, which is not only a punishable offense under the Indian Penal Code but also a criminal offense from a moral and social perspective. The notice clearly warned the film’s producers and directors that if they did not change the title, the Brahmin community would completely boycott them. He said that it is clear from the comments made by the Supreme Court that it is necessary to discourage such malicious attempts against any section of the society.
